Why MESH?

After four years of being active entrepreneurs in the Norwegian startup scene, we spent a year travelling abroad and looking at emerging international trends within entrepreneurship. What we found blew us away and inspired us to act. We discovered a new international ecosystem in exponential growth, designed to the needs of modern entrepreneurs. New networks, organizations, and services were accelerating creativity and effectively creating culture and infrastructure to foster great innovation. We saw that this creative revolution, enabled by modern technology and design, is being lead by a new generation of entrepreneurs with a global mindset and a web-based working method.

This new generation of entrepreneurs is also a reality in Norway, but they are still more hidden and unconnected than in many of the countries we usually compare ourselves to. We have encountered and cooperated with a variety of interesting and inspiring people and organizations while creating MESH. Together, we hope to make 2012 the year that Norwegian innovation and entrepreneurship got noticed internationally.
